So I bought a bicycle a couple of weeks ago and I'm finally riding again. I got it for $200 at Sports Authority, 'cause I figured It was better to by a Chinese-made bike there for two-hundred rather than a Chinese-made bike at Wal-Mart for $89. I figure in about six months it will have paid for itself.

I used to ride from '98-'02, when I didn't have a car. Then my bike was stolen, and I had been saving up for a new car for a long time, so I got a car. At the time I had a 30 inch waist. Right now I'm pushing 36 inches, but in just two weeks of riding I can already feel an improvement in my cardiovascular health. I constantly feel like stretching, I have more energy and I'm more relaxed.
I've been extra sedentary for the last 3-or-so years and it's done a number on my normally very high metabolism.


I can't believe it's been a year since I was in Russia and Scandinavia. The last 12 months have been a blur of concerts, karaoke, partying and work. August is already halfway done.

I'm all kinds of in love with Macross Frontier. I wait with bated breath for each new episode and I just bought the first soundtrack from the show, which was recorded by the High Queen of Anime soundtracks herself - Yoko Kanno.
