I made it! I'm alive, and in Vancouver. Its sunny and green and lovely today. The movers will have our stuff here by noon, then we're going to wander all day.

It is my goal to do this by the spring of 2008.

Also, to the random people sending me friendship requests: this isn't myspace. If you want to be my internet friend then talk to me a little first! I don't accept requests from people I don't know, or haven't spoken to at least once.

Wow, I'm in a fiercely rotten mood! Ever heard of the Mean Reds? Yup.

I hate the people I work with so. much. Hatehatehatehatehatehate.

Seven more work days, then I never have to see them again... which is good, as I'm considering homicide as a valid form of stress reduction.

A bunch of guys hanging out in a field wearing hooded bath robes tends to add geek points rather than reduce them. However that's just one man's opinion.

So. (Tentative) new plan that may save us metric buttloads of moneys.

We move in with my brother for a month. Then we move into one of his friends' condo for two months while he's in Thailand. We take care of his kitties and his house, and in turn we live rent-free. After that we move into our own place. It all does sound rather...

where are you moving to lady? and thank you for the vote of confidence.. you're such a cutie. if only i were dealing with a girl right now, life would be so much easier. but alas it's a lame boy. how are you? is it mad cold in calgary? xo k
kallie:
i'm living in east van, it's the only really acceptable part of vancouver in my opinion, but i think most people disagree wink it's just a nice artsy community, friendlier than downtown and all in all just a healthier lifestyle. more walking, organic food, vintage shopping... you know. i'm from toronto though, so the sort of lazy laid-back west coast thing is start to get to me to be perfectly honest... too much central canada can make a person permanently crazy. what's bringing you out this way?
xo
p.s. love the photos of the fuzzy cooch smile

Hey, I wanted to thank you for the wisdom teeth advice. You actually helped put me at ease. Freezing was the right choice, no problems at all despite what a lot of people told me it would be.like.

btw, your pics are gorgeous smile
trocar:
You are correct, no new BSG. But what can one expect they only had a month break and then two new episodes. Is it next Sunday yet?

Well, it is official. I told my boss today that I'm moving, and therefore quitting. He wasn't terribly impressed with me, but he has to appreciate that I'm giving him almost two months' notice.

So, after Feb 27th I will no longer be employed. Neat!

Now I have to start thinking about packing.

I hate packing.

A lot.

I can't sleep. Or breathe, for that matter...

Getting sick the day before new year's is the suck, only because I have plans that I'm actually looking forward to for once.

Blech.

Merry Christmas, lovelies!

I got drunk on champagne and orange juice and opened presents at two today. Now we're doing puzzles. My family is hilarious.

I'm looking at three, all with AF.

50mm 1.4 or 1.8 (apparently the 1.4 gives damn good shots)

or the 20mm f2 (I do love me some wide angel action)

more then likely going to push for a 1.4 50mm, just for low light shooting.

And curious to find a good fast 35mm.

Or the sigma 15mm f2.8 fisheye, that would be sexy.

what lens do you want?
zenfish:
Stupid sg forms.

Also, bold means read.

Striked out means own. smile

So haven't read either of those yet.

True Coriann Facts!

&hearts I'm currently cooking roast beef and yorkshire puddings... in my underwear.

&hearts While most people are complaining about the (very very!) cold weather, I'm actually sort of enjoying it. I spent all sunday in bed reading and drinking tea with the fireplace on!

&hearts I plan on making most or all of my Christmas presents this year... but I haven't actually...

Thumbs up: I got an unexpected raise today!

Thumbs down: I can't get my sewing machine to work properly.

Oops, nevermind. As I was writing that, Peter fixed it.

I made the awesomest toque out of an old sweater today.
