One of the most frustrating things I've seen on the SuicideGirls boards is a very hypocritical, anti-science streak.

I notice that people will criticize the methods and results of scientific findings in fields they know nothing about if they can't fit the facts into their established world view.

It's something many people here accuse the Religious Right of doing, but is really something much more widespread.
