What I've read so far this summer (part 2):
On Bullshit (I forget who by, but it was really good)
Stephen King's The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
Stephen King's The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three
Stephen King's The Dark Tower III: The Wastelands
(I can't seem to find my copy of IV: Wizard and Glass... it's a hardcover, shouldn't be hard to spot)
Isaac Asimov's On Time, Space, and Other Thigns which was EXCELLENT
Robert Conrad's Heart of Darkness
The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin
Noam Chomsky's Media Control
Herman Hesse's Siddhartha
Kurt Vonnegut's Slapstick
Youth in Revolt by C.D. Payne to put it on the list
I'm still working on The Stand, because I read a bit before bed every night.
I'm also abouta third of the way thru Wells' War of the Worlds, started Plato's The Last Days of Socrates (read "Euthyphro", working on "Apology") and Asimov's Second Foundation (I probably shouldn't have skipped Foundation and Empire but what're you gonna do?) I'm also about halfway thru Beck: The Art of Mutation (my awesome mom found it at a used book store) and maybe 3/5ths thru Stephen King's The Stand.
What will I read next? I don't know. When I finish Plato, I will probably either read Aristotle or more Plato. When I finish Asimov, perhaps another Vonnegut. When I'm done with Wells, I probably ought to have another go at Pride and Prejudice. And when I'm done with The Stand? That's easy. It. "We float. And when you're down here, YOU'LL FLOAT, TOO!"
