I'm watching Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

It's delightful.

So far, I've caught references to War of the Worlds (heat ray sound), Star Wars(R2 sound), and The Day the Earth Stood Still (a lot of the robots look like Gort). And I'm only forty minutes in. And I'm not that much of a sci-fi buff.

Edit: Oh, and Godzilla. His silhouette can be seen in the post-attack newspaper montage in the Japanese paper.
Also, Enter the Dragon (via The Matrix) and X-Men, during the second-to-final appearance of the robot assassin.
