It's so incongruous to watch things like City Slickers or Dilbert. Kevin' Arnold's adult voice coming from the strangest of places.
What I've read so far this summer:
On Bullshit (I forget who by, but it was really good)
Stephen King's The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
Isaac Asimov's On Time, Space, and Other Thigns which was EXCELLENT
Robert Conrad's Heart of Darkness
The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin
Noam Chomsky's Media Control
Herman Hesse's Siddhartha
And I'm working on Stephen King's The Stand. Again. It's the expanded edition, and it's pretty awesome.
Also, I'm trying to get myself to read three pages a day of The Cambridge Guide to World Theatre. At that rate, I should have read about the majority of significant people, places, works, events and theories of worldwide theatrical history within one year.
Next on my list of books to read is Shakespeare's Richard III. I hope to finish it this time.
My goal in all of this is to read or re-read every book I own. I own so many I haven't read or finished. Naked Lunch, some Dylan Thomas book, Tim O'Brien's In the Lake of the Woods, Peter Weiss's The Persecution and Assasination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum at Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade and Gdel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid by Douglas R. Hofstadter are just a few.

How did you like Heart of Darkness? I have it, but I haven't read it yet. Sound familiar? Maybe that will be next.
