That sounds very interesting. Unfortunately, no, I haven't read that play. Is that the play you directed?

My alma mater produced How I Learned To Drive last year, and the actress who played Li'l Bit was particularly awful. The director was forced to make numerous concessions in regards to the sexuality because she was uneasy about it. It was awkward to watch, and not in the way it is supposed to be. Plus, she couldn't act to save her life. I'm not sure why the director didn't go with a more experienced actress. No one in that department has the balls to dismiss anyone, though.
