I never thought I'd be one of those gym-membership and no-red-meat and whole-wheat and sugar-free-Red-Bull and I'm-quitting-smoking and I-just-bought-a-sport-coat-and-shirt-and-tie-at-Jos.-A.-Bank kinds of people.
Turns out I am.
It's a really nice sport coat though. Good deal on it, too.

I have since quit Old Navy and am now the temp administrative assistant for the CSU Dramatic Arts Program, while the regular secretary is on medical leave. It's a good job, and I might get hired as the regular admin. asst. when she retires.
Busy busy.

Someone gifted me an account renewal! Thanks somebody!
Most of my time these days is taken up working as a stagehand on Ain't Misbehavin' at the Cleveland Play House. Also, working at Old Navy, which I'm quitting soon.
I'm reading Joseph Campbell's Creative Mythology right now. Most of it is going over my head.
I wish I was watching the Puppy Bowl.

Tremont it is then!
Scott has a job already (he's why we are moveing) in Akron. I hated Akron, it was way to tiny for me. I may dance if the clubs are ok, may waitress or bartend. I hear Tremont is wanting for waitresses and bartenders.
We visited little italy, and it was the littlest little italy I have ever seen. It was what.......a block and a half? neighborhoods in Cleveland seemn so tiny! like dollhouse neighborhoods! University circle seems pretty, but from what people tell me its alot of families and old folks, and I can't imagine getting hired over there (every waitress was a blonde girl next door in an expensive sweater)
I didn't see a thing besides houses in coventry, to tell the truth I am baffled by cleveland, it seems like there are 1000 houses for each business. I've never seen a city like that. Did I just go to the wrong parts? is there a more condensed part of cleveland that I am missing?

yeah one of our big co habitation issues is that I have a scooter and need to live in metro area to feel like a person, and he is a car guy. (i won the coin toss this time, last time we were way out in the burbs)
I liked what I saw of Cleveland, the zoo looks really cool. And the arts/food scene seems to be pretty hoppin'
I've never been to a city that wasn't on a coast, and Cleveland is really different from coastal cities, so this will be an adventure. I hear you have beaches though, do people swim in the lake?

James's life first update since september (when I was working on Night of the Living Dead):
Stage managed David Sedaris's The Santaland Diaries at Cleveland Public Theatre. Good experience. Our David, a guy named Sean, is a really good guy and I now count him as one of my closest friends. Incredibly funny, sensitive, and supportive. Also, a great wing man.
I'm in Boston right...

Was it only 2? I feel like they change this place every year. Its completely different since the last time I was on.
Haven't updated since I saw Wall-E? Mon dieu!
Currently working on a stage adaptation of Night of the Living Dead which will open at the end of October.
Was broke for a little while, back on my feet. At least I never had to choose between gasoline and food.
