I just found a picture of MY tattoo on BME!
Not that I should really be surprised, but it certainly did startle me. My tattoo artist submitted it into his portfolio. I thought of signing up with BME, but now I don't feel as though I am contributing, my work has already been showcased. blackeyed

I have a pinched nerve in my butt/leg. I can barely stand up on my own let alone walk. It hurts like crazy but I can't stop laughing because I look like an 80 year old! The doctor has prescribed two different kinds of pain killers, yet I'm still sore. They make me really sleepy, that's about it.

the first 3 pics were taken as the process was happening. i kept clear wrap on the tattoo for about 3 hours afterwards.

then after the initial "bleed out" (for those first few hours when the tattoo is fresh in your skin, when it SHOULD be covered to protect it from touching anything), you can let it be un-covered.

Winter flying is scary. and unrewarding.
While the Ikea excursion went well, I had to rent a car from the hotel to get there as it was -36 in toronto with the windchill and there was no way we were going to even attempt to take the bus. Not to mention the east coast has softened me and public transportation in t.o. is also scary...

Nova Scotia, eh? What are you all doing out there? I've been trying to explain to these silly Americans I live amongst what East Coast accents sound like...but to no avail.

And I bet the company is a little less colourful than the boob-grabbing, coke snorting, beer guzzling company the tattoo shop provided. Haha.

But nonetheless I am sure it's lovely out there.
