Donkey Kong Country is what I'm going to write about today. Hahaha I had totally forgotten how incredible the intro to it is (which is that link right thurrr), how many hours of my youth it consumed. I played plenty of other games, but this, this has a special place is my heart.
If you haven't played, it's a Nintendo game where Donkey Kong (and Diddy Kong, who's like your extra life) are on a mission to get all their bananas back on this island. Watch out of alligator soldiers, and make sure to grab all the golden animals to access bonus levels! Donkey Kong has his own like superpower where he can SLAP really hard hahaha. Things get even better when you ride down a mine shaft (cause what else would a couple of primates be doing 😂) and you can learn to ride other animals as well. The fucking BESTTTT ever was when you can ride a rhino. Just plowing through bitches like byeeeee.
