I'm thinking about going into seclusion. One year, one room, just a computer, some books and my drums. Learning Photoshop and Illustrator, reading and really practicing the drumming are the things I unfortunately find get swept under the wave of reality. Reality and laziness. But some time sans work and distractions would be very very nice.
I wanted to go see The Shins next month but the shows sold out within a matter of hours. It's in a real small room, but I was still pretty surprised. Oh well. Plenty of other good shows coming up...Pinback and Bright Eyes and The Faint in May! I'm very much looking forward to both of those, assuming I can get tickets. This time around I'll just get them right when they go on sale. Never hurts to play it safe.
I find the best little quick fix for my anxiety problems is the Stickies program on the computer. I compulsively write things down in order to a. keep them straight in my head and b. keep myself from losing it, but when I write them on paper I tend to throw them out following the slightest change, leaving me left to begin again. So the e-post-its are great because i can alter them without any mess and the subsequent fits of compulsion. And more often than not I'm staring at my computer, so they're very accessible.
As of tomorrow at 5 PM I have a nice long weekend. I'll have some time to spend with the people and things that I love...

Also, as of now I'm definitely planning on going to this SGNY business on the second. I hope to meet some of you there.
I told myself I'd go to bed around 12:30, which would have been a major improvement for me, but anyhow I think I'll quit now while I'm only somewhat behind.
Hope everyone here is well...Gnight.
