Just to prove I'm still here. . .
It's been a long time since I've updated. In the mean time, I finished my first year of school, and what a year it was. I found a lot of joy in learning, and it's brought me lots of pleasure since. I'm studying the history, philosophy, and literature of modern Europe.
I moved into a new apartment, with two friends, one of whom has since moved out due to financial and mental issues. The past two mornings I've woken up to the sounds of mice dying in traps. It's a worse way to start the day than cheap coffee, which I'm drinking right now.
It's hot as hades in New York. Or at least in here. I'm starting to sweat and I haven't done shit yet. I've got to go now, to the Verizon store to replace a six month old phone.
