Ok, big update this week.
After much consideration, research and annoying requests to friends and acquaintances; I had my septum pierced on Wednesday night. A rather interesting sensation, mainly because I had a retainer (looks like a squared horse-shoe) put in so that I can hide it at work. The two long ends rest against the upper inside of the nostrils - so I sniff occasionally, thinking.... well, you get it.
Anyway, the "poke" itself wasn't anywhere near as bad as I'd read about in the past few weeks of research. A slight wince and it was over. Sweet! Thanks to Al and Trevallion for their input and not showing their annoyance at my million questions.. Pics to follow.
The first two weeks on the new job have been absofuckinlutely blissful. I'd forgotten what it was like to work in a fun, comfortable environment where YOU (as a person) actually matter to your boss.. I'm never leaving this place - ever..
My new boss bought me a Tablet PC (Motion Computing) for my on-the-go machine, which I wasn't completely thrilled about - mainly because I'd heard they're hard to use and you need stellar penmanship for it to work well... WRONG. I'm left handed and therefore can easily compete with a Doctor for "worst handwriting" title; this tablet has about a 97% accuracy rating with me.. Not bad at all! To tell the truth, I've been having a friggin blast playing with it!
Also, if any of you ever get to the U District, there's a fantastic sandwich place on the Ave called "Boston Grinders" (about 53rd and U-way). I've had lunch there four times in the past two weeks for one reason: AWESOME grinders! Stop in and give 'em some love - they work hard for their customers.
That's about it.. for now.
When's the next event!?!?!

yeah. I'm probably getting a studio in the same building as Trevallion and Sydni.

Thanks! I just got it back up again after a long time. I'll start blogging again ... eventually.
