Ok, Im fucking pissed. Ive tried to update this journal 3 times now! I hit the Save Entry button and *poof* - its fucking gone! No warning, no back button and its all still there OH NO, thatd be too easy! Instead, I have to rewrite EVERYTHING! Christ almighty!
My birthday was just short of perfect. My Mom, Step-Dad and Cousin picked me up at about 9am and we headed for McDonalds for breakfast. After eating, we got back in the car and I find myself looking at a video camera. They all conspired against me! It was time for Its your life. We drove 210 miles around the Seattle area visiting all of the places that partly influenced who I am now. We all told stories about my childhood, some on camera, some off. By the time we were done, my face hurt from all of the laughing we did. It was a great experience.
People started showing up at the party around 7pm. I had no idea we had 35 names on the guest list! I should have realized that I was in trouble when the drinks appeared under my nose. I made food for everyone there Korean Bulgogi, kimchee, Seattle Sushi Rolls, Orange Chicken and Peanut Butter Pie for dessert. The beverage of the evening was Cointreau Cozmos. The finally tally for me: 14 Cozmos.. <sigh> I was in good shape, 2 sheets to the wind, cooking over an open flame, making Sushi with a razor-sharp knife etc And I still have all of my fingers!
Anyway, it was a great birthday. I have no issues with my age its all just a number in your head anyway. Besides, I have wisdom and better, cheaper insurance too! Heh.
Im still reaping the benefits though. A friend who couldnt make it to the party is taking me out to Sushiland. If youre ever in Seattle and you want decent quality Sushi for a cheap price, Sushiland is THE place to go.
Ciao!
