ok, first and foremost, I have to say that Jules' newest set is fanfuckingtastic! My God, she is gorgeous - and there's something about that set that "works". Most of the sets in the recent weeks/months have not really impressed me. Don't get me wrong, there are quite a few that I have really taken notice of, but as a whole, nothing is blowing my skirt up....
Jules, great work - you're gorgeous and your photographer did a great job of capturing that.
In other news..... Due to a fuck-up at the DMV, they didn't renew my motorcycle endorsement at last renewal. So guess what? Yep, I have to "restest" in order to be legal again. I'm not going to go-off about how pissed I was at the DMV and instead I'm going to regale all of you in a short summary of events from the orientation last night.
The instructor of the class goes through his initial spiel and then has everyone (26 people in all) stand up and give their name, what they hope to learn in this class and then how much experience they've had on/with motorcycles.. So, one-by-one, everyone stood in-turn and introduced themselves - most ALL of them stating that they'd never actually BEEN ON a motorcycle, much less knew how to operate one.. I thought "Oh fuck, what have I done..?" Here comes my turn to stand: "Hey everyone, I'm Chuck. I'm hoping to learn anything you could teach me, anything at all. I'm here on a technicality from the DMV and I have extensive motorcycle experience." The instructor then asks: "How much experience do you have, Chuck?" "25+ years" I reply.. He looks at me for a sec and says: "Come see me at the break". Well, at the break he asked me to be an Asst. Riding Coach for this class which means I get to help these people learn how to ride.. I know that must sound like a bit of a drag, but I'm so excited about it that I can hardly contain myself.. This is going to be a FUN weekend!
