I know how this works. In order to get the moral victory (if not the legal one), you have to prove that your adversary is the horrible, awful person you want everyone to believe he is. And because you know he's not, you have to provoke him. You have to say the most outrageous shit to him. You have to challenge him at every turn. Because if you keep at it, eventually he is going to lose his temper and say that awful thing you want him to say. And the moment, he says it, victory is yours, because no one is going to remember that he was provoked. They're only going to remember that awful awful thing he said.
