Notes from Day 9
1) I wanted to cheat so badly tonight. My house is so cold. The temp is set to 72, the air temp is 63, and around my feet it's 53 at most. I have comfort food in my house: cereal, chips, donut holes. Instead, I made roasted radishes with garlic. I'm honestly not sure whether to consider that a new high or a new low.
2) It's kind of amazing how little food it takes to feel no longer hungry. I had about 8 pieces of leftover pork for lunch and that was enough to get me through to dinner AND ignore the general office M&M pigout that happened around 3 pm.
3) I'm worried about next week. I have two days of restaurant eating (business) to make it through. Usually this makes me very happy because it means pigging out on the office dime. Now, it means picking restaurants where I can get a piece of meat, some veg, and a salad AND are pleasing to the coworker I'm traveling with.
