Meal 1: Fritata w/ chicken, broccoli, & cabbage
Meal 2: Chicken with sundried tomato & spinach (the last of that, thank goodness)
Meal 3: Ground beef w/onions
Meal 4: 2 brined pork chops
Beverages & Snacks: Hot tea, Iced tea, Kombucha; green grapes, salted baby carrots, fruit smoothie (banana, frozen peach, frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, water)
1) This week I'm going to try not pre-making all my food. I'm not as busy as I was last week and, frankly, I get sick of eating the same thing over and over. I still have about 3-4 servings of that fritata. Gah! However, I do like having pre-cooked ingredients on hand, so I'll be sauteeing some pork stew meat, making more ground beef w/ onions, roasting some veggies, etc.
2) Blood sugar was up from yesterday. Probably because I had a lot of fruit in the evening. I expect the same will happen tomorrow since I ate late and am still drinking kombucha. Sometimes it's not what you eat, but when.
3) Salted baby carrots is not a great substitute for chips, but they are salty and crunchy. I might have to pick up more before gaming tomorrow.
