Rose - My roommates are finally moving out. They are lovely people, but crappy roommates. They never take their dogs out, and so the dogs shit all over my house. They never feed, water, or litter their cats, so that cats come downstairs and eat my cats' food and us their litter pans. They use my dishes without asking, take them upstairs to their rooms, and only bring them back when I ask for them. They rarely wash the dishes, and when they do, they leave mine in the sink (I've been washing their dishes for a year).
Thorn - I'm losing their rent income (I own the house).
Rose - I had a new tenant lined up for January - August.
Thorn - They backed out at the last minute.
Rose - I have another tenant lined up who is committed to moving in...
Thorn - ...but not until July/August.
Rose - I can afford to not have the rent income for 6 months....
Thorn - If my son and I live close to the bone and we don't have any emergencies. *crosses fingers*
