Jes got back from This thing called "Mondo Creepshow", an artshow/animationfest/live music thing-a-ma-jig. Good time, loud music, and one single bottle of water (horay for being next to broke).
Dere was some kickass artwork...I went to one of the show's these people put on last year, and I regret missing out on the chance to get my artwork in there. Oh well. Next time.
So becuase of working since 9am, I started getting tired bout halfway through. I was leaning against a rail, looking at the people on the first floor checking out teh artwork, schmoozin, and the like. A band is playing somewhere...it's loud and resonates everywhere (this particular band wasn't all that good). And this cute woman walks up to me. (I don't notice till she's right next to me tho).
Often, my being tired opens up all sorts of fun and intersting possabilities of stimulating conversation. The fact that I'm out of my mind when I'm tired, adn often having fun, it can be a barrel of laughs.
For some reason, it just wasn't clicking. I was a more "lethargic" tired, than I was a "goofy" tired. The Cute girl with the curled Autumn colored locks was talking, I couldn't hear her. I tried the "conversation" thing, talked about the art on display, Yet the lack of hearing and My tired induced toungetied-ness made it PRETTY damned dull conversationing.
Saw her twice more before I left...I think she was attending alone.
Dumbass, thy name is Chrono01
I could blame the fact that I didn't have enough $$$ to get a beer, or better yet, a Soda (caffeine and sugar could have given me the little bit of awake I needed). but no. First sign of a bad craftsman is one who blames his/her tools for shoddy work.
That analogy might not be going anywhere. Cripes. I don't know anymore. Bleh. too tired.
Apologies go out to the Cute Autumn haired girl. May all your following conversations be more stimulating than the one this night.
I wish I had 28 Days Later on DVD right now, I have a hankerin to watch it before I go to bed.
Blearrrgh...
