Hey everyone. Havn't "journaled" in a few days. After the book I wrote for the last three jorunals ... the past few days of boring retail and not-as-much-art-makin'-as-I'd-like just didn't seem very journal worthy. *shrug*
A few interesting points over the past few days...
My Brother is packng up to go back to college. Sucks. Now there won't be anyone around the house to flick off for no reason... no one to talk about funny belches... no one to do impromptu "fake fights" on the spur of the moment.
It will be nice not having to blast my stereo to compete with his... and the house won't rattle on it's foundation when he snores... but it'll be a little duller without him around.
The Vaccuum caught on FIRE!
At work. We were cleaning the place, apparently Kinko's had to inspect the place thouroughly... (becuase it failed the previous one) so I had to vaccuum the whole place. (that's a lot of floor)
Anyway...I'm going along...and I smell something bad. It get's STRONGER. I see "dust" being kicked up. Dammit, I think... It's full, or clogged.
I take the vaccuum to the breakroom... and open it up to empty it. It's packed full of crap...looked lke it hadn't been cleaned in years...I lift up the vaccum unit to get the crap out of the narrow passageways clogged with dirt...
HOT TO THE TOUCH!!
SMOKE BILLOWING OUT OF IT!!
KINKOS is a DRY PLACE FILLED WITH PAPER!!!
I run this thing out the front door... (concrete=better for fire than carpet and paper) and it continues to smoke. I leave it out there...and I discover i locked myself out. Fun Night!
That's basically it. I havn't had a lot of time to work on my projects. I gotta get to work on those. Must submit artwork! Get a job outside Retail hell! to Action!
*flies off*
PS I am getting used to Kinkos...and, like Randal says in Clerks (But nearly all retail slaves have said long before that movie ever came out...)
"This job would be great if it weren't for the fucking customers..."
God, Damn, Customers. It seems that every day someone there asks me "So! How do you like it?" and I so want to just say "Great, but I could do without all the customers" but there are always about 15 customers around when I want to say it... Oh well
