Christmas this year marks my 30th birthday. I guess I really don't know what to say. It's the first cool birthday since 21? Being born on a holiday I guess it's always special in some weird way.

This year on facebook I reconnected with all of my old friends, random family, the amazing people I've met here on SG (this means you if you cared enough to read this far). Since my phone recently changed numbers and not everybody has the new one, I'm expecting my facebook wall to be blown the hell up. In competition with the Christian savior Jesus, of course I'm gonna win. Duh.

My official birthday party is December 30th at my apartment. We are squeezing in like 30 people. Somehow it will work.

Coby is 2 years and 2 months. He's a punkass but it's cute. Very shy in public, and very quiet around strangers. I'd rather have him be cautious and curious than be a psycho two year old. I guess that makes him more like me...unless I'm onstage.


I'm booking a USA tour for February and March for my own band, Stressbomb. And then we have another in May and cross fingers for summer. We are taking two months off until the tour. It's a nice break to save up for some money and bond with loved ones and friends before embarking on a great adventure. I've been on a dozen tours in what, two dozen countries? since 2008...good times. I've grown more in maturity and self discipline these past recent years than my entire life. I blame the travel. It's humbling.
