Hey kids! After a couple months of research and conjuring up characters I started working on another book. This blog is a brief crappy synopsis and nothing else. It's a suspense with elements of some supernatural and subcultural elements. I researched paranormal activity, clairvoyance, government projects, the FBI, the CIA, american travelers/gypsies, rave culture, 1920's german history, the soviet union in the 80's, famous psychics, and a few other things.
An 18 year old boy that has telepathy is the main character. He has the ability to not read minds, but actually experience another person inside their heads. All their feelings, sights, emotions, not in some cheesy Mel Gibson way. He experiences them in real time and he cannot predict the future or relive the past, to an extent. Anyways, his parents were involved with a CIA project from the 70's called Stargate Project that performed psychic tests on people in hope for military application. His father disappears, his mother is kidnapped in east germany. His grandfather was a jew that left germany in 1933, and there's lots of secrecy throughout the story. The boy joins a criminal group of wandering gypsies and they infiltrate raves, hippie festivals, and other fun places full of drugs. At one point they accidentally murder someone. An FBI agent is assigned to the case. A group of telepaths get involved. A love interest that suffers a perceptual disease that causes her to hallucinate(which the boy experiences when he "reads" her). It gets heated towards the climax of the story involving the boys parents, the gypsies, drug dealers, the telepath group. The boy must make a choice, fitting in with friends, living his life to the fullest, being a nomad forever, choosing his family, or even choosing death. Whichever he chooses will mean making huge potential sacrifices.
But for now
Ambien rules!
