Tour starts today!
We are playing the Launch Music Conference in Lancaster PA for the first gig. It's a four day music workshop with like 200 bands taking over the city and all of its clubs. Passes cost bunches of money and lots of sponsors involved. Gives us a chance to bump elbows with music industry people. I've never done anything like this before so I'm curious how it all works. I guess it's like a mini south by southwest.
Still at home at the moment anxious to get on the road! Packing has become easier and easier with every tour, as I know exactly what I need and what I don't need. The van and my amplifier are both coming out of the shop today in tip top shape.
Every tour changes ya a little bit. I can't explain it. There's just always a new perspective forced in your head after long travels and being cramped in the small space with your best buds. I know there will be ups and downs.
Oh yeah shit happened last night, my phone fell out of my pocket into Coby's bath. My lightning reflexes scooped it out but the screen is all fucked now. If it doesn't clear up in a few hours I'm gonna hit up the Tmobile store b4 we leave and get a new phone. Yarr always a damn hurdle!
Anyways, I'll keep this blog updated as often as I can on the road, and catch me in chat during the downtimes at the clubs.
We get back May 8th.
