Van Economics for the financialy impaired.
30,000 miles.
Miles that I've put on my van since it's purchase late october last year. That's 100 miles a day for 300 days. That can only make one think. God damn that's far. Quite average for a tour van.
I get about 18 miles per gallon. That's 1666 gallons of gas I've used up. The average price of gas in the past year has been 2.85
That's $4,748.10 in gas alone.
Combined with insurance, brake job, 2 self oil changes, full tune-up, 4 new tires, and an alarm.
I pay 31.72 a day to drive my van.
Shit.

I put at least 100 miles on my truck most days of the week. I get about 15 mpg. I know how you feel. Except I don't know the wonders of touring.
