secondly, technically if the "photographer" wants to be an ass they can say they owned the pics because they took them and you had no right to go and sell them to someone else. like SG or anyone. i have heard of other girls having problems with people doing this after the fact. so even though he took the pics, gave them to you, you sold them. they werent yours to sell you know? like i just had a photographer take pics for me, he signed a contract saying i paid him for x amount of pics and they were now my property and could do with they what i wanted. now if i hadnt signed anything and sold them to SG he could come back and say those were mine so im going to post them up where ever i please.
basically if its just a friend taking them i wouldnt worry but with a pro you want to cover all your basis.. its just like if SG buys your set, you no longer own them they do.. so they can put them on a poster, book, etc.
hopefully he is just being an asshole and telling you shit to get you pissed, becuse i dont think they would just tell some random person your set was or wasent accepted. but if you ever work with someone else, just sign a simple thing saying i own these and you do not.. just to be safe.
anyway, i hope you get it squared away and good luck with going pink!
