So here's a crazy story
Last month my puppy got hit by a car because while we were at work someone had busted through a hole in our shitty fence & taken my best friends bike that was in front of it
(my dogs are terrified of bikes so it kept them away from the rotting part of the fence)
My friend got a new bike for X-mas & that was the end of it
Last night I was driving with my boyfriend to get dinner & we went around our corner & on the side of our next door neighbor's house was Jannell's bike
He got out of the car & 2 of the neighbors were in the backyard
words were exchanged
basically
"you stole this from our backyard"
(it's a very distinctive old bicycle with a blue exercise seat)
"no I bought it from a guy downtown"
So after about 10 minutes of the conversation going nowhere except this meth head offering us money or another bike frame we just said whatever
we didn't want to make it a huge deal since the bike had already been replaced
but at dinner it was driving us crazy
we should have just taken it
we should have called the cops
out of principle
you do not just get to steal from us
we called my friend & she just thought it was crazy & we shouldnt call the cops
when we got home it was on their front porch & now our main goal in life is to steal it back
I don't know if we'll get a chance or not but if these people are stupid enough to bring a stolen bike back to the scene of the crime, I'm sure they'll leave it out again

Yeah! Steal it back! (just don't get murdered by meth heads over a peice of shit bike). Grrr, bike theives are bad. I had the seat stolen off my bike the other day. What a bunch of crap.
