So I started my new job yesterday. I finished hospital orientation on Tuesday and yesterday I was in the department. It was nice because I already knew everyone and how to do everything from doing my clinicals there a few weeks ago. Only now I'm getting paid for it instead of working for free! I can't wait to get my first paycheck...I'm like $3,000 in debt right now from not working. It sucks!
So I'll be pretty busy from now on. For right now I'll be working 3-11:30pm (afternoons
) Monday through Thursday (I get a 3 day weekend!). My schedule will start to change to different days in about a month though and I'll have to start working some weekends. So Monday, Wednesday and Thursday I have school in the morning before I go to work, but I'll have Fridays completely off so thats nice. I've only been to my Trigonometry class twice and I'm already completely lost. If I can't get help and get on track soon I'll have to drop it. I have my Physical Fitness class today for the first time so we'll see how that goes.
Worst thing right now is that my classes are a half hour away and so is work. In 2 completely different directions from each other.
So, its off to class in a little bit and then lunch at home..and then leave for work again!

I used to work the 3-11 shift. It wasn't so bad, and it was a lot easier to get used to than when I worked overnights.
Good luck with everything!
