What does beautiful mean to you?
To me the word beautiful is entirely a perception, which can differ depending on who is using the word. Some find "perfection" beautiful, but I find uniqueness and difference beautiful. Something that makes someone stand out, a quality that is different that society may deem as imperfections. For example, that missing tooth you have that you might be a little insecure about, I absolutely adore it. Maybe you've been bullied over having a big nose, but that big nose is such a beautiful feature to me that highlights your face. In a non physical sense, I find "different" ways of thinking or speaking to be a beauty that is treasured. For example, someone who talks a lot, I love listening to their views and am infatuated with their speech pattern. I think it's beautiful to stand out, and be unapologetically yourself. Let me tell you, NO matter what quality you may think isn't part of a normal "beauty standard," it's absolutely beautiful. Why? Because It's YOU. You were born the way that you are, and I just think it's so beautiful that you are you.
