Cheers for the complements on my tattoo. A lot of people seem puzzled that I wanted an Escher piece on my back. Good to hear from another Escher fan who appreciates it 
I've had a lot more done now than my profile pic shows, just need to have the chamelions coloured in. My tattoo artist lined every scale individually so that we could get a real pearlescent effect when colour is added but I think he regretted that when it took 4 hours to do all the scales lol

What I mean is, your GF is just missing you, and prolly expects you to miss her too. To visit you and find that you're wanting to sit around with your mates, even if you are including her, and not sit alone with her has prolly hurt her feelings.
