A few questions for those of you that feel like it.
1. What in your life, is a challenge for you?
2. Do you push yourself to do/deal with these things?
3. How do you talk yourself in to taking on the callenges?
4. Is it hard for you to bare your soul here, in your journals and elsewhere?
5. Name something that makes you happy, and does not involve money or people.
Here are my answers:
1. Engaging people I don't know in conversation. Putting myself in situations where I will be judged, and having to deal with the consequences of the results (this one is pretty huge and all encompassing in my life ). Letting people know when I am sad, unhappy, depressed, etc. I'm afraid of appearing weak or scaring people away if I do let on how things are for me.
2. I do try but not as much as I should.
3. It's not easy but if I do, it is the thought of my kids, and how I need to be a positive example to them. Also for myself, I know I will feel better for having tried.
4. Very hard, see the last line of my answer to #1.
5. Sitting and soaking in the simple beauty around me. Things like, watching long grass dance in a light breeze. Raindrops hitting puddles, and rippling outward. The smells of the forest, and the gardens in spring. Finding pleasure in such things is, I feel, tapping into the innocense and magic of childhood.
*This is my 3rd journal in less than 24 hours! That amount in a week is normal for me.

2. Do you push yourself to do/deal with these things?---Oh god no. I like avoid avoid avoid. I think I'm waiting for some kind of self-destruction.
3. How do you talk yourself in to taking on the callenges?---I don't really deal with it head-on. Some days I just want to walk the fuck out. I'd prefer to just walk away without a word...change my number and move. But that's cowardly.
4. Is it hard for you to bare your soul here, in your journals and elsewhere?---Well not really that hard. I woild bare my soul more if it wasn't that depressing all the time. I think that's the reason my journals tend to be superficial. But I don't mind getting personal. I love abd trust my friends.
5. Name something that makes you happy, and does not involve money or people.---I was going to say GFTD but he is a person. Bugger! Being by myself makes me kind of happy.
