What a night!! Started the evening off at a local bar with a few friends including ThisAintNoPicnic, I had a great time hanging out but there was the more pressing matter of a certain Pixies concert we were heading to.
Once at the show, it was time to hit the upstairs bar... with the longest line-up in history!!! Had a couple of drinks and just as I was finishing, the Pixies hit the stage, time to run down to the main floor! It was a really great show, they played everything I could have hoped for (including my beloved In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song, their cover of a song from the Eraserhead soundtrack ), and aside from a few drunk asshats, it was an equaly great crowd!
After the show, I bought a cd copy of the concert (technology rules!!), which I have yet to listen to but from what Picnic says, it's great!
We all hit the bar again on the way home but I had to cut out early as my ex was looking after the kids for me. Upon arriving home, I find that my daughter has a wicked case of stomach flu and has been throwing up all night!! Poor little monkey, she was a right mess! So, she and I were up most of the night... ...I have a lot of laundry to do tomorrow! Thanfully, she hasn't thrown up anymore today.

Like I said... what a night!!!
