Started the new job today. It went pretty well but the schedule is going to mean no life outside of home and work, for a while at least. It's not what I see as a long term thing anyhow, just something to get me through until I can get myself a better job.
One really odd thing about the new job is that I work with an older man that is Diabetic (no not a patient but a co-worker). The odd thing being that he has to constantly be monitored to make sure his blood sugar level is okay. He is always in denial about his condition, and we really have to pester this guy to check his levels and eat his meals. I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't already have kids of my own at home. I am genuinely concerned about this guy, it's just that he is older than me (and that's really saying something! ) and should be able to look after himself.
May 2006 be a great year for us all!

I wouldn't worry about him. At least if he goes into a coma or something ya'll will know what to do to help him....
