Well, the annual Hoyer family throwdown has come and gone. And it looks like my parents are finally going to cut my sister and her idiot boyfriend out of their lives. It took me physically removing the boyfriend from the house (Tazmission!) and her baby getting pneumonia, with an extra helping of a screaming match, to make them listen to reason.

But the end result is - no more money, no more contact, there's a lot of fucking sadness in the world. And they're even going to return the something like $800 worth of presents they got for my sister, her boyfriend and the two kids. Egad. Well, it'll learn them, i guess. This, by the way, is my plan for dealing with them. So anyone who thinks my parents are heartless bastards can eat it, because i'm the one with no remorse. Get it straight - you fuck up, you don't deserve more chances. So don't fuck up.
