I got home from work today feeling a bit down. My job involveschecking out lots of trees (which is great) and making sure they're safe for the public. I get really sad when I have to condemn a tree coz it may fall on a car 
Especially when it's a big old oak or beech. Alot of people have a very bad attitude towards trees as well. I have to stay calm and polite though, otherwise I'd be out of a job. 
I'm gonna have to come up with something or one day, it'll all become too mutch and some one will say " that tree's blocking the light to my kitchen so fell it" and I'll just despair at the sadness of it all.
I've got my Lover and our dog and cool sites like this with some spot on people and some very good friends and these things keep me sane and vital and, mostly, smilling

that's a sad story about the trees. it's really great that someone as conscientious about nature is in the position that you're in. you're a tree angel.
