So I didn't get my New Year's Kiss last night.
I sipped a beer and watched other people make out.

I hope that isn't an omen of things to come in 2005.

Not really. I would've been oh-so-lucky to have a girl like you around on New Year's. Actually, I was supposed to be in L.A. but my plans got all screwed. Bah.
