It seems that everything in my life backfires on me sooner or later.

Can't everything go right for once?? Why, when something goes right, does something have to equally suck a few days later...?

Yup, all of this draws me further to the conclusion that God, Fate or whatever entity is out there is laughing at me.

Never cool enough
Never pretty enough
Never rich enough
Never caring enough
Never nice enough
Never thin enough
Never clever enough
Never popular enough
Never "scene" enough
Never grown-up enough
Never happy enough
Never in love enough
Never carefree enough

Just never...enough.

Always falling just short of the goal. Always just a little disappointing.

Or disappointed.



The ballad of the ne'er do wells is one I sing frequently and in a different key each time...

Just tell me that it will be ok this time and maybe I will change my tune.
