i am better. not all the way but still. i can kinda eat again. we went to a diner for lunch today and all my people got hamburgers and i had......a dry bagel. ummmmm. nothing like a dry bagel. but i got to go shopping at this crazy thrift store called the purple barn. it was filled with every sparkly, lacy, embroidered, halloween-like thing you can imagine. i got a patchwork suede coat with a faux fur trim for 20 bucks!
plus my momma sent me an ankle length suede skirt so now i feel like a furry cow, but in a good way.
also, i saw goslings today. i was at the lake for a couple of hours and i got to watch them for a while. they are so perfect. there were four of them with mom and dad just hanging out. my new friend hfa taught me a trick to meditate and hone my reflexes. it's called owl eyes. it's pretty crazy. you end up looking at things in a whole new way.
i would like to thank dodraibeid andhrlyquin for introducing me to christopher moore.
i found one of his books here and read it in one day. i would like to quote the following passage.
"Growl, you live in a slime lair and maintain an identity as the mysterious overlord of an undersea city, you command a fleet of meat dreadnaughts with crews of humanoid whale people, and you're currently reclining in a pulsating mass of gelatinous goo that looks like it escaped from hell's own Jell-O mold-so excuse the fuck out of me if I question your motives."
where else are you going to find that kind of writing?
