Was going do 60mins or so on the trainer last evening but I felt pretty crap when I got home,migrainey and washed-out, so decided to knock it on the head...

Ah well, race night tonight...

Now I have a benchmark (last week) I know what to, sort of, expect. OK different course this week but I don't think the 'change in elevation' (if you can call it that) should affect much... My goal? to get close to last weeks time, to prove it wasn't a fluke, so sub 26mins.

Decided to ride 'merckx' style (thanks Jeng) again, i.e. sans aero bars etc. my only concession is a higher more forward saddle position.

Time will tell.

I was given the number 13, oh crap! It's Ok I said "hi" to a Magpie on my way to the start

26.18, 18 seconds outside my goal oh well. this was a touhgher course than the [memory map] profile had me believe.

I didn't ride intelligently and within seconds my race plan had gone out the window.
