So I guess I need to update everyone on my car. Major problems are all fixed. Apparently, after I dumped a chunk of my savings into maintenance, my mechanic knocked lose the speed sensor. I'm a little foggy on what this device actually does, but the dealer has fixed it. Also, it seems that some things are still covered under my original warranty, so I didn't have to pay for shit. The bottle of whiskey was also never opened, so I'm saving it for the next major breakdown/Christmas. Thanks to everyone who commiserated with me, and I hope that all of your own vehicular problems can be solved soon. Remember to be persistant when dealing with these mechanics! They'll screw you if you don't put your foot down!
