The scenery is pretty rad also, I've got to see a quite a bit of it from various jaunts and research excursions. I still feel like I haven't really seen enough of it yet. But here's a few random snaps:

The cool thing about Mount Taranaki is that circular zone around it. It's actually the boundaries of a national park. Pretty much everything outside it is farmland.
