Posting the first blog is always a little stressful. You never know what to say or what to do. You just kind of hope that whatever flows from my mind and into your fingertips is going to be acceptable to any passerby that might read the whole thing. But I guess I'll just say whatever comes to mind.

I have been learning this new song on my ukulele by Allison Weiss. And there's a particular line that I absolutely adore. She was influenced by Teagen and Sara and you can hear a lot of it in her music. But that's alright. She at least has her own sound. So here's the line! :
"But it's all good, 'cause I'm no good. And believe me, you don't need me. It's a big world, and I'm old news to you."
It's from her song July 25, 2007. I love it personally. And learning it on the ukulele has been an absolute pleasure.

So what about that weather huh? The heat is definitely not my friend in any way. I'll admit that the thunderstorms that recently past haven't been much help. It's just humid and hot. I tried to escape to the beach today and only found myself in the same position. Not that the escape wasn't amazing, just the heat and the mass quantities of families around weren't something that I favored. Maybe I'll go camping tonight and sit around a campfire with some friends.

Well hopefully my next blog isn't an absolute terror. Maybe I'll get the hang of all of this. We'll see.
