The Real Dirt on Farmer John was a great movie. I love that guy! I am really glad that I support the farm. If you have the opportunity, I recommend that you become a member of a CSA. CSA means Community Supported Agriculture. You buy a share in the farm and typically get a box of fresh, locally grown, organic produce every week. These vegetables are like no other. I know, I know. You say you buy organic from Whole Foods or where ever. I thought the same thing. Let me just say...before I started eating locally grown produce that was fresh picked from the ground, I never considered lettuce to be a dessert. Now, I pine for my lettuce greens in the middle of January. Nothing comes even close to the delicate, sweet freshness of that crop.

So go now and rent The Real Dirt on Farmer John! And become a member of a CSA!!
