I just got back from a 3+ hour rehearsal for a show that goes up in a week, and now must start my homework. And it is dawning on me that it will not get better than this.
Perhaps I'm completely insane, but I'm in three shows this semester. Which means I have major performances every month. Which means I'm going pretty much straight from performance to hell week all semester.
On September 20th, I'm in the choir of Red Beads, a world premiere by this famous Japanese composer. It's actually really awesome, it's like a creepy as hell flying puppet show. More details as they become available.
October 22nd-November 20th I'm in La Traviata at the Amato Opera House. I just saw their Tosca a couple nights ago, and they do fucking INCREDIBLE work. I can't wait.
Then in early December I'm in a chamber opera workshop production of Dido and Aeneas.
So all very exciting but... ohhh my god I think I'm gonna die.
