So yes, I'm home. Home-a home. Homey home home home home. Woo.
By home I of course mean "my parents' house in Atlanta." Since I also refer to my dorm in New York as home.
Last night I saw an excellent production of Hamlet at Shakespeare's Tavern. They always do such amazing work, and they manage to keep a three-hour long play moving and interesting, bringing out the humor and drama in everything to its greatest potential. I LOVE Shakespeare's Tavern.
Being here right now kinda sucks though, 'cause everyone else is still in school. So I'm kinda stuck hangin' around the house and such. So it goes.
I spent this morning running errands with my dad, which was actually kinda fun. Ridin' down the highway, listening to the Dresden Dolls, pickin' stuff up and dropping it off. One of the buildings we were in had this effects studio in it, and we stopped in and the owner gave us a tour. It was awesome, with all the realistic injuries and monsters and robots and stuff. Word.
I've more or less decided that I'm going to try to transfer into a voice major. I have to audition, of course, but if I don't make it I'm going to go to the College of Arts and Sciences and fulfill liberal arts credits and then apply again for Spring semester. I really can't do another semester of this drama shit.
