I could have the DJ living below me kicked out.
This makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
About a year and a half of excessive "thud, thud, thud,"
God i hate house/techno. I mean the music serves its purpose; everything has its tiime and place. If i'm heavily medicated and surrounded by girls eager to shake their ass then turn the bass up. But, not in a tenement so poorly constructed you can hear mice fart.
The sight of his folks and sister on the curb in this harsh december chill is pleasing (they've been assholes as well), but then my high is brought crashing down by my conscience.
-sigh-
No Christmas for me this year.

an illustration is basically just a drawing that creates a graphic representation of something (a sketch of person, etc) and tries to convey some deeper meaning, concept or emotion in its composition or selection of subjects.
so, to summarize... in my flyer:
the design is the style of lettering i chose and its arrangment on the page.
the illustration is the drawing itself that i incorporated the lettering into.
my flyer is a bad example though, since i am both a designer and illustrator, i tend to integrate the process in a much more organic fashion.
here is a better example:
the illustration is the actual full-color drawing of spider and the city.
the design is the arrangement and coloring of the vertigo logo, the transmet logo and the creators names on the page.
