So, what's new in the world of Chimpsky.. I just found out that I may have a semi-full-time job after I graduate, which should be next spring or summer. That's pretty good news, and especially since it may be a continuation of what I've been doing on a freelance basis -- teaching kids about bugs. After that? Who knows.. Off to get my teaching degree, I suppose.

It's starting to get chilly up here in T'ron'o. What happened to that really nice period between summer and fall when it's not too hot, not too cold, and everything seems just right? I think it blew right by me. Speaking of blowing, I heard on the radio that a guy in Halifax was out during the brunt of Hurricane Juan, and he tripped as he was walking and got blown by the wind -- rolling -- for about two blocks!

I've come to the conclusion that the Jamaican patties I've been buying (2 for $2) are not very healthy. Can anyone back this up? What about the vegetarian ones?

My girlfriend's recovery has begun. She gained a fair bit o' weight over the past week, which naturally is catasrophic for her.. But I think she'll be able to sort it out and accept that it's good for her.. eventually..
