There are a lot of days I could consider the 'best'. I feel as though in the past couple years I have been blessed with good days, so it is quite difficult to choose. I don't feel I have a best day, more like a best week.
Earlier this year, my partner and I decided to get married. We both love to travel, and we love road trips. Since I was 10 years old I had always wanted to see Crater Lake in Oregon, so we decided to road trip it up and took a 10 day vacation. We hit up Denver for a couple of days and rented a tandem bike (I did not know how to ride a bike at the time, he essentially pulled me along), hit up several recreational marijuana facilities, ate the most delicious edibles I've ever had, and went to the zoo and aquarium there. We drove through Utah and took the loneliest highway in the US. In Oregon we camped out and hiked to the most beautiful, serene river I've ever seen.
When we made it to Crater Lake it was everything I had ever imagined. We couldn't go out to Wizard Island like we had wanted so instead we were married at Vidae Falls on the outer edge of the crater. It was a short but very lovely ceremony after which we hiked down to the lake and jumped in. The water was freeeeezing! It was such an amazing adventure and I wouldn't change a single thing about it.
