You should post in people's journals. Then people would know to post to you and then you wouldn't be talking to yourself.
You should take the time and fill out the rest of your profile as well. Helps people get to know you better.
Also...put up a profile picture. It will help you seem a little less creepy. Not to say that you are creepy. But well, yeah.
