Foz and I took our dog's on a doggie date Saturday. The dogs loved it and all the hiking we did cleared up my hangover nicely. On the way back to the house of 'paign we stopped in beautiful Ogden, Illinois
at a joint called "The Lincoln House Family Resteraunt." It was like stepping back in time. The interior was a nice eclectic mix of sun-faded 60's patterns and President Lincoln paraphenalia. It had a slight funeral home quality to it. But, as we all know, these places often have the best food. We ordered the special which was a cheeseburger and bowl of chili. We were starving and decided that wasn't going to be enough for these hungry boys so we also ordered onion rings and fried cauliflower. The plates of fried goodness were gigantic and we were almost goners before the cheeseburgers arrived.
After eating our ever-so-healthy meals we drove back to Champaign and then out to the 4th annual International Beer and Chili Festival. (Foz and I are not very smart, ordering chili before going to a chili fest, duh.) The Fest is quickly becoming one of Champaign's finest. You pay 5 bucks to get in and then purchase tickets and sample a shitload of beers. Some good, some not so good. We met up with a good beer swilling group of friend's and Foz and I drank a lot of beer and ogled the impressive "scenery."
Good times were had by all. Foz has pics from our doggie-hetero-man-date he'll have to share.
OH! and speaking of pictures. Rumor has it there are a bunch of pics out there from my night of mud-wrasslin' These will soon be made available to the SG public so stay tuned.

foz:
I just trimmed the bush and shaved a couple parts, you know, there are certain parts that just look stupid trimmed, so I took an extra step and I'm itching like nuts
